How do I get a refill of my medication? Your provider will give you enough medication to last until your next visit. For instance, if you have high blood pressure you should be seen every 6 months. Therefore, you will only be given a prescription for 6 months. If you are running out of medication you are probably due for a visit, please call our office to schcedule an appointment.
I was just in your office and I forgot to get my prescription. How do I get my refill?Please give our office a call we will be happy to get that prescription ready for you.
I am completely out of my medication and I can't get an appointment or I can't come in today. How do I get a refill? We stronly encourage our patients to co-ordinate their visits with their medication. However, we realize that this isn't always the case and we never want our patients to be with out medication. So, if you are completely out we will give you a one time 30 day supply which should be enough until you can be seen.
What if I need a refill of my pain medication? We do not refill pain medication, including but not limited to Percocet, Vicodin, Tylenol #3, or any of their generic equivalents. Please call our office and schedule an appointment. Do not leave a message for the medical assistant or the doctor we will not refill this type of medication without seeing you.
